This elegant 230E saloon has a very low mileage and is completely rust free – two of the most difficult attributes to find when searching for a W123. While the W123 series deserves its reputation as one of the most robust cars from the manufacturer of robust cars, after over thirty years since the last was made it’s no surprise that most are showing the effects of their miles and, particularly in northern Europe, being eaten away by rust.

We imported this right-hand drive 230E directly from Japan where the kind, salt-free climate means this W123 has remained entirely free of rust. Its state of preservation no doubt helped by having covered just 53,333km (33,140 miles) from new.

Finished in the tradition MB combination of Classic White with blue cloth, this 230E is equipped with the desirable four-speed automatic, electric windows all round and factory Behr air conditioning.

All original books/manuals and two keys come with the car along with service/inspection sheets. And now UK registered ready for its next owner.

Along with a service we have fitted a new exhaust, new tyres, new lower balljoints and a new fuel pump.

Superb bodywork and the underneath is incredible – please study the photos to see how rust-free this car is. No welding or panels replaced.

Commensurate with the mileage the interior is also in superb order with no wear to the seats or carpets. The Zebrano wood is bright and unmarked and the steering wheel’s grain remains sharply defined. Again, please study the photos to appreciate its condition.

Drives beautifully with the tightness of a low mileage car and all the refinement for which the W123 is famed.
