This beautifully original W115 has covered just 19,794 miles from new. It must be on of the lowest mileage W115s remaining.
Originally supplied by Callanders of Aberdeen on the 18th August 1975 to its first owner who kept the car until 2007 at which point it had covered just 15k miles. Since ’07 the car has had three enthusiast owners who have with sparing but regular use increased the mileage to just under 20k miles.
All originally supplied manuals/books and tools come with the car along with invoices from John Haynes for all the recent recommissioning work carried out. This has included a new genuine Mercedes clutch and slave cylinder, a new exhaust system complete, new brake flexible hoses and fluid, along with a preventative refurbishment of the ignition system and four new Continental tyres.
Having always been garaged and used so sparingly, the car’s condition is superb and extremely original. The Pastel White paintwork and brightwork are in exceptional order while the interior is remarkable – absolutely unmarked and retaining that elusive freshness of new. It has never even had a radio fitted.
Inside the boot the vinyl covering is unmarked and the original spare wheel has never been used.
Relatively few UK-market W114/115 models survive and very few with such a low mileage in such exemplary condition. Perfect for the collector.
