This early R129 300SL was supplied new in 1990 by Greenoaks of Maidenhead to a certain Mr Kenneth Lowe. He was the man behind Kenlowe Fans, much loved by owners of classic British sports cars. Mr Lowe, evidently impressed by the recently launched R129, chose a 300SL equipped with a high specification that included adaptive damping, air conditioning, cruise control, Becker Mexico and headed, electric memory seats (full specification detailed below).
Twenty-six years later the car has had just 4 owners and covered just 32k miles with a full service history recorded in the service book, along a folder of invoices, past MoTs and HPI Certificate.
All original books/manuals and tools come with the car along with two keys.
The overall condition of this SL is exceptional in all respects. Indeed, it has won prizes in the past.
The paintwork and interior are unmarked, the underbonnet anodized parts are still bright, the wheels free of any blemish and wear near new matching Pirelli tyres all round (including the spare).
This SL is also highly original with no deviations from standard right down to its Becker stereo and Greenoaks of Maidenhead number plates front and rear.
A beautiful low-mileage car that’s suitable for the most discerning of collectors.
