This beautiful W202 C43 AMG has covered only 68k miles from new, backed up by a full service history and is in immaculate condition throughout.
The W202 was the first car to benefit from Mercedes and AMG joining forces as it was built as an AMG rather than being a modified standard Mercedes. Whilst the six cylinder C36 accounted for the majority of W202 AMG production, the V8-powered C43 was relatively short-lived, in production for just over two years before the W203 replaced it. So the C43 is a rare car but one worth the hunt because the 302bhp 4.3-litre V8 endowed the petite C-class with storming acceleration – 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds and limited to 155mph.
This ’98 C43 is finished in the fabulous colour scheme of Green Black metallic with black leather interior, which makes a change from the usual silver. It’s particularly well equipped too with automatic climate control, electric, heated and orthopaedic seats, plus power-fold mirrors and cruise control.
Supplied new by Dick Lovett of Swindon in August 1998. Three previous owners and the last keeper since 2006.
All original books and manuals come with the car along with both remote keys. HPI clear with certificate.
Full service history from new, comprising of ten services carried out by Mercedes main dealers and one Mercedes specialist. Last serviced less than 200 miles ago.

Thanks to always being garaged and cossetted as a second car this C43 is in truly superb condition. The paintwork is exceptional with no dents or corrosion. The AMG wheels are unmarked and wear a matching set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres all round.
The interior is in beautiful condition and retains its original Blaupunkt radio and over-mats.
As a classic ‘gallon in a pint pot’ formula for producing a fast car, the C43 does not disappoint on the road. With low miles the car is very tight and together, and performs superbly.
With less than 200 on the road in the UK, the C43 is something of a rare modern classic that combines subtlety with muscle car performance. This example combines high specification, low miles and a comprehensive history with fantastic condition making it a very desirable car indeed.
